June 4 2026,
The New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs 105-95 last night in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
Jalen Brunson scored 30. Karl-Anthony Towns had 18 and 12. The Knicks extended their playoff win streak to 12 straight.
But here's what the score doesn't tell you.
The Spurs led by double digits in the second half. Wembanyama had 26 and 12. San Antonio controlled large stretches and looked exactly like the 62-win team they were all season.
Then the fourth quarter happened, that’s when things went to crap.
The offense bogged down, Brunson took over, and the Knicks stole it on the road.
Local coverage called it a Spurs collapse, not a Knicks masterpiece.
to be honest, if they win another game it would be surprising.
But again, this isn’t financial advice and I don’t play basketball.
You might find it hard to believe, but there are over 150 “whale traders” that are taking San Antonio to LOSE.
You can see it here.
Tomorrow’s odds on Polymarket read like this: Spurs still 66%. Knicks 35%.
The odds Barely moved after Game 1.

The crowd is treating last night as variance — one bad closing stretch from a team that otherwise looked like itself. Not a momentum shift. Not a statement win. Just four bad minutes from a fixable problem.
Game 2 Tomorrow
Tomorrow’s game is in San Antonio and tip-off is 8:30 PM ET.
While the Spurs led for most of Game 1 and lost, that could mean all they need is a little adjustment to have them win the series in SIX.
Good luck, and be careful out there.
