Happy Monday people,

Big weekend and the results of our beta test came in. I won’t get into it right now but know that the results looked promising. More to come.

Today’s top stories…

CNN Sports: Prediction market sponsorships are turning sports fans against the leagues.
JJ Allison, 25, trades prediction markets for a living after bookies and sportsbooks cut him off for winning too much.

  • Even so, he was one of dozens of bettors who told CNN that league partnerships with these platforms have gone too far.

  • Nearly a quarter of MLB teams signed prediction market deals this summer, following a league-level deal at the start of the season.

  • The fans CNN heard from don’t call it fatigue. They call it betrayal.

Also on the board:

Finbold: “Black Monday” fears intensify as prediction markets shrug off a 2026 crash.
On the 39th anniversary of the 1987 crash, Wall Street opens after its worst week since January.

  • The VIX is at 20.57, CoreWeave is down 25% in five sessions, and Brent crude is near $109.

  • Polymarket still prices just a 7% chance of an AI bubble burst by year-end.

  • That contract requires a full-blown collapse within 90 days, not a correction.

European Gaming: Hacksaw launches a B2B prediction markets platform with MGA Type 3 approval.
Nasdaq Stockholm-listed casino supplier Hacksaw Group just launched a platform that lets any operator run peer-to-peer prediction markets under its own brand.

  • Hacksaw supplies the tech and pools liquidity across its entire operator network, which solves the empty-order-book problem that kills new markets.

  • Malta’s regulator added Type 3 to Hacksaw’s B2B license, covering player-versus-player games where the operator takes no risk and collects a commission.

  • Bernstein puts the prize at roughly $1 trillion in annual volume by 2030.
